New York City Regional Center EB-5 funding was used to redevelop the waterfront along the East River in Lower Manhattan. Along with the Dermot Company (http://www.dermotcompany.com/project_item.cfm?projectid=8&type=1), New York City Regional Center (NYCRC) funding is being used in the redevelopment of the Battery Maritime Building, a landmark transportation facility as well as the construction of a new esplanade and sidewalks and roadways along the waterfront. The first phase of the East River esplanade, a two-mile long, City-owned public open space extending north from the Battery Maritime Building was opened in 2011. “The New York City Regional Center is very pleased to be assisting with the redevelopment of this important landmark facility. We look forward to helping to create robust activity along the city’s East River waterfront,” said Paul Levinsohn, Managing Principal of the New York City Regional Center (NYCRC).
